How to call someone on stage for speech on Independence Day?

Independence Day speech will come under both formal and informal Anchoring. The most important factors to determine your content are:

1. Time provided for a particular program.

2. The audience.

3. The agenda. This an eg of agenda cum invitation card.

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY

First of all collect the agenda from the authority (School/college/Club etc). The agenda should contain the name of the shows in a chronological order and time beside it. It should also have the name of the guests who will be coming for flag hoisting. Also the name and class of the students who will be delivering speech on that day. Make sure you have these info before u start writing your script.

Once you have all information, begin writing your script.First segregate formal and informal programs.Things like welcoming the guests, flag hoisting, welcome songs, prize distributions etc will come under formal part. On the other hand folk dance , songs etc will be coming under informal/cultural part.

Now take two fresh sheets of ruling paper and start jotting down ideas.Take a particular program in mind and think about “how should I introduce the program to the audience ?”. You may make it appealing by singing patriotic lines. This will make you gain attention of the listeners. But keep track of the time because you cannot extend beyond it.Remember you just have to introduce the essence of the program to the audience. Be brief !!

Also at the end of each program you should thank the participants. Like..”thank you children for your melodious song” or “Thank you sir for your beautiful speech” etc. This is a must thing.

If you are calling any guest on stage to speak few lines then make a sober approach.Pronounce his/her name correctly. For eg:

“Now I would like to call upon stage our chief guest Mr.Sharma to enlighten the students”….{pause}….”Sir please”. Remember this “sir please” phrase is very important.

For informal part you can be louder but decent.Like “are you guys ready for the dance !!!”..etc. You can cheer the audience like..”clap guys clap”. “Vandemataram!!” etc.

An indispensable part of independence day is the March past. For this you will have to give a live commentary. For this collect the information about the troops who will be in the parade that day.Make sure you also have the name of the leaders of the troops with you. Jot down few good lines about our soldiers, their pride, their love for India etc..Like..

”kandhon se milte hain kandhe “etc..

Also have few lines ready for different troops.Say them loudly once they reach the podium.Note : Be a little louder during march past as the band might suppress your voice.

On Stage:

Few important things to be kept in mind on stage:

1.Wear proper dress.Best will be traditional dresses. You have to look good that day.

2.Write your script properly in a paper .Staple them well if you are using more papers.Separate different programs with dark lines.Have ample space in between.

3.Always keep a pen with you on stage.

4.Always be ready for a change.Anchoring is not like delivering a speech.Certain changes may happen that particular day. The programs may be interchanged, some may be cancelled, few guest might not come or some other guest might turn up. So always be agile and incorporate these changes in your script. You have to be mentally present on stage.Keep looking at your Stage in- charge for information.

5. Be confident with what you are speaking.Improvisations are always welcomed in anchoring but you should hurt the sentiments of the people.

6.Keep fillers ready. Certain programs may take time for stage set up. At that time you should have certain word to fill the gap.Never leave stage empty or silent once the show has started!

I hope this helps.........!

CERN ABOUT TO KICK OFF THE LARGE HADRON COLLIDER ON A THIRD RUN

The Large Hadron Collider will embark on a 3rd run to discover extra-cosmic secrets

Ten years ago, scientists were able to discover the Higgs boson and, with the help of the Large Hadron Collider, helped to understand our universe. They did it again in 2018 and gained new insights into protons. Now, with a new set of questions, they plan to restart the particle accelerator this month to potentially better understand cosmic unknowns like dark matter. "This is a particle that has answered some questions for us and given us many others," says Dr. Sarah Demers, Professor of Physics at Yale University.

The Higgs boson was first observed when scientists at the European Center for Nuclear Research (CERN) were spinning at nearly the speed of light and colliding with particles. They did it with the largest and most powerful particle accelerator in the world: the Large Hadron Collider. Since 1964, physicists have theorized that this particle existed, but it took nearly 50 years to find evidence. Scientists believe the Higgs field has created a tenth of a billionth of a second after the Big Bang and without it, stars, planets, and life would not exist. have jumped up.

The proof of the existence of the Higgs boson was an important milestone in basic physics, and Dr.Francois Englert and Dr. Peter Higgs received a Nobel Prize in Physics. Despite scientific achievements, the work to understand how the universe works are far from over. The collider completed a second experimental run in 2018 that provided new insights into proton structures. and how the Higgs boson decays. And after more than three years of maintenance and updates, the collider will launch again on Tuesday, this time with triple the data, longer intense beams, and a total of allowing for more studies.

"There has to be more because we can't explain a lot of things around us," said Demers, who is also working on the third run at CERN. , we're talking about 96 percent of the universe being really big. What Demers is referring to is dark matter, which is an invisible matter thought to exist based on observations of the cosmos, and dark energy, which is driving the accelerated expansion of the universe. Expect the next run to provide information about the elusive but overwhelming majority of our cosmos. but it can also help unravel some of the greatest mysteries of the universe as a whole, e.g. B. how it came about, what it is like, and what its ultimate destiny might be. Run 3 is expected to last for the next four years, and scientists are already beginning work on Run 4, which is scheduled to begin in 2030.
